Beliefs
We believe there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), who is triune in nature and essence, existing in the persons of the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit (Colossians 2:9, 1 Corinthians 8:6, John 1:14, John 10:30, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19).
We believe that God created all things by the power of His Word (Genesis 1, John 1).
We believe that sin separates us from God (Luke 16:26), and that propitiation for sin is the only means by which we can be saved (Hebrews 2:17). Jesus Christ came as the Son of God and emptied Himself of God-like power (Philippians 2:7-8), except for the indwelling of the Spirit (Mark 1:9-11), so that in coming, He might take our sin upon Himself, to be judged and condemned to die on a cross. He did this out of His abundant love for us (Romans 8:38).
After three days, being dead, He came to life again by the authority of the Living God (John 10:18), so that He might prove His power over death and offer humanity the opportunity for eternal life in Him (1 Corinthians 15:17).
One must recognize their sin and need for a savior by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Psalm 116:13, 1 Corinthians 1:2-3), believing that He did this act of sacrifice to purify them of unrighteousness (Acts 16:31).
To become a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, one must be committed to the obedience of His Word (Psalm 128:1, Jeremiah 7:23, Romans 16:26).

We believe the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is available and necessary for all believers who confess Christ as Lord; it is how the fruit of the Spirit is produced (1 Corinthians 12:4-6, 2 Corinthians 1:21-22, Galatians 5:22-23). If a person shows no fruit, they continue to walk in darkness and sin (Matt. 3:8, Col. 1:10, 1 John 1:6, John 15:5,8,16, Gal. 5:22-23).
Spiritual conversion must be evidenced by our actions. Baptism is a requirement for all believers but is not the means of salvation. It is an act of obedience to express and mark the transformation of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit; it is the manifestation of real heart change. (Matt 28:18-20, Mark 16:16, John 3:5, Gal. 3:27, 1 Peter 3:21).
We believe that God has given both general and special revelation to allow us to see (Psalm 19:1, Isaiah 40:21, Romans 1:19-20) who He is and why He is the only way, truth and life. No one comes to the Father or enters eternal life, except through Christ’s sacrifice (John 14:6). This revelation is made available in the authority of the Holy Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Deuteronomy 29:29, Romans 15:4).
We believe the Bible consists of 66 books that are accurate, reliable, and consistent both archaeologically and historically. The complete Holy Scripture is the only authority given to believers by which we verify and examine truth (2 Peter 1:20-21).
